Dr. Hunt is a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX, as well as an honorably discharged United States Air Force Veteran. He sees patients by appointment and does home visits and nursing home rounds through the week, and sees patients in the clinic every Sunday from 1:00pm to 3:00 pm. Dr. Hunt has a diverse medical resume, from working urgent care and emergency room to serving as Emergency Room Director on the Choctaw and Cherokee Indian Reservation in eastern Oklahoma, but his passion is primary and preventive care. In his spare time, he is a runner and an avid caretaker to his chihuahua, Baby.
Lisa is an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner who has been a provider in this community for almost 20 years, and an RN for the previous 15 years. A graduate of Western Kentucky University, she has experience in family and primary care. Lisa sees patients at Armadillo Medical Services every Monday and Wednesday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Mary Anne Claiborne is a family nurse practitioner, and a graduate of Tennessee Technological University. Mary Anne grew up in Macon County, and has been an RN and nurse practitioner in the community since graduation. She is excited to be able to continue practice in the community that she loves, and is thrilled to be a part of the Armadillo family. Mary Anne sees patients in the clinic from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, and from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday.
Steven James is a physician assistant with over 10 years experience, and a graduate of South University in Savannah, Georgia. Recently moved from Georgia, he has experience in family medicine, as well as pediatrics. Steven sees patients in the clinic from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday.
